Explosion rocks NCRPO compound

MANILA, Philippines - An explosion was reported at the the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) compound at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City yesterday.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Reynaldo Valler said the explosion took place at the NCRPO’s Logistics Support Service warehouse at around 1:43 p.m.

The explosion was probably caused by various types of bombs stored at the warehouse, Valler said.

No one was hurt in the fire, which reached first alarm. Property damage was pegged at P300,000.
