Lolit Solis testifies in Hayden sex video trial

- Non Alquitran -

MANILA, Philippines - Entertainment host Lolit Solis testified yesterday that her ward, former celebrity doctor Hayden Kho, admitted to her that he has been taking videos of his sex acts with different women.

Solis told Pasig Regional Trial Court Judge Rodolfo Bonifacio that Kho has mentioned in previous conversations over the years that “matagal na niyang ginagawa sa ibang babae iyon (he has long been doing this to other women).”

Actress Katrina Halili has charged Kho, her former lover, of violating the law penalizing violence against women and children for taking a video of them having sex and uploading it on the Internet, all without her knowledge and consent. She has asked for P100 million in damages.

Solis confirmed that they had a meeting at the house of Dr. Vicky Belo, Kho’s erstwhile girlfriend, in Makati City on May 21, 2009. Present at the meeting were Belo, Kho and his lawyer.

It was during the meeting that Solis said she advised Kho to ask for forgiveness from Halili and not to repeat the mistake.

However, Solis said she cannot remember whether the meeting was recorded.

Halili’s lawyer, Raymund Palad, said the sex video was probably taken in either Room 1012 or 0901 of the Holiday Inn Galleria Manila in Pasig City.

In a memorandum submitted to the court, hotel officials said there were four rooms registered under Halili’s name on four different dates: Room 2801 on Sept. 2; 1207, Sept. 16; 1012, Sept. 19; and 0901, Sept. 28.

Palad said Rooms 1012 and 0901 have completely the same setup, as seen in the sex video. “The date here is not the issue, but it has been admitted that the video was taken in either of the rooms (1012 or 0901),” he said.
