City administrator downplays Joavan’s latest caper
CEBU, Philippines - Talisay City administrator and Alayon campaign manager Ritchel Bacaltos yesterday said the recent controversy involving Joavan Fernandez, the son of Mayor Socrates Fernandez, does not affect the election campaign of the party.
He said Joavan’s actions do not reflect the entire direction of the Alayon Party’s campaign.
Last Monday, Joavan reportedly tried to intimidate a certain Florita Echavez Rosas, a resident of sitio Kawayanan in barangay Lagtang, by allegedly displaying a gun.
Joavan’s father is running for city councilor.
Bacaltos said Joavan is not part of the party’s overall campaign personnel. (FREEMAN)
