MANILA, Philippines — President Marcos has named new officials of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs.

In a Facebook post, the Presidential Communications Office announced the appointment of Marvin Jason Bayang and Kristine Joy Diaz-Teston as assistant secretaries and Leslie Vanessa Lim as director IV of the office.

Led by Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go, the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs was created through Executive Order 49 issued last December.

The office is tasked to provide the President timely, relevant and strategic advice on economic matters and concerns and to ensure that investment pledges are realized. It also aims to enhance the mechanisms for crafting, coordinating and implementing the government’s economic policies, plans and programs.
