MANILA, Philippines — Oil prices are set for a massive rollback this Holy Week.

In its forecast, Unioil Philippines said: “Diesel should go down by P1.30 to P1.40 per liter. Gasoline should go down by P1.20 to P1.30 per liter.”

In the past trading week, global oil prices recorded its third consecutive weekly loss as several countries implemented fresh lockdowns amid increasing COVID-19 cases, and this raised fuel demand concerns anew.

Prior the upcoming price rollback, diesel prices would be decreased by P0.35 per liter and kerosene prices by P0.45 per liter. Gasoline prices were unchanged.

This brought the year-to-date adjustments to stand at a net increase of P7.35 per liter for gasoline, P5.90 per liter for diesel and P4.9 per liter for kerosene.
