June 24 declared non-working holiday in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — President Duterte has declared June 24 as a special non-working holiday in Manila.
The President issued Proclamation No. 731 to mark the celebration of the 448th foundation anniversary of the city.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Manila be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” the proclamation said.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed the order on behalf of the President.
