Store promoting honesty among kids opened at Crame

MANILA, Philippines -  A toy store promoting honesty among children is now open at Camp Crame, the national headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Quezon City.

In the Honesty Toy Store, prices of toys are as low as P10 to P30. The toys have price tags but no one is attending to the store. Customers will just place the payment for the toys in a transparent container.

“The main intention of our Honesty Toy Store is to teach children the value of honesty even if no one is watching,” said Chief Supt. Gilbert Cruz, director of the PNP Police Community Relations Group.

The toy store is located at the entrance of Children Road Safety Park near the EDSA Gate of Camp Crame. It features a driving lane that winds across multiple traffic markers and other instructional signs.

The park features a statue of PNP chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa sitting on a bench; a lagoon; and life-sized sculptures of superheroes Superman, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Spiderman and Minions.
