The House of Representatives led by Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez welcomes all the guests and participants of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

In a message, the Lower Chamber extends its well wishes for the team participating in the event that will happen until September 10.

"Good luck to all the teams participating in this global basketball event, especially our very own Gilas Pilipinas," it says.

Fast food chain Jollibee announces that it is giving away free tickets to the opening game of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 is 19th tournament of the international basketball event for men’s national basketball teams.

The opening game will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Aug. 25, 2023.

“As a brand that is proudly Pinoy, we are just as excited as everyone else to have the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 open in our country and cheer on the Philippine team,” says Pam Reyes, AVP for Handhelds.
