Iya Villania names son after Drew's dad

MANILA, Philippines — Couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano agreed to name their first child after the latter's dad Antonio.

They will be having a baby boy.

"We will name him Antonio, after the lolo, [kasi] he passed away three years back," Iya said, explaining their decision in a recent interview, where she was introduced as the brand ambassadors of the metasearch engine GoBear.

The Kapuso actress-host wasn't able to hide her excitement about the birth of their baby next month.

"I’m looking forward to having a baby in the house," she replied when asked about what she looks forward to being a mom. “I’m looking forward to the energy that the baby will bring. I’m looking forward to breastfeeding. I’m looking forward to seeing Drew as a papa.”

“I’m looking forward to everything!” she exclaimed.

She’s also thankful that she’s didn’t have a hard time with her pregnancy.

“I’m fairly lucky with my pregnancy. It was quite easy,” she said. “Sana hanggang delivery masabi ko ‘yan. Mamaya sa delivery bawing-bawi ako sa paghihirap do’n!”

Iya also noted that she will be back to work after she gives birth, as soon as the doctor allows her.

"I want to go back to work immediately,” she said. “Kasi naman ‘yong work ko, I’m lucky na ang work ko hindi naman gano’n ka-demanding.”

“Even before I give birth, ‘Lip Sync Battle’ season two would have already come to an end, so the only thing that I have to go back to is ’24 Oras,’” she said.
