Solaire presents Queen of the Night

MANILA, Philippines - Solaire Resort & Casino presents Lani Misalucha in the Queen of the Night concert at Solaire Grand Ballroom tomorrow, Nov. 20, 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

Fresh from her stint in Las Vegas, Lani jettisoned to Manila for a one-night concert that showcases her powerful vocal performances and unforgettable renditions of popular songs.

The concert takes on a more meaningful note as it provides an opportunity for a fundraising that will  benefit communities in areas devastated by Yolanda.

“I am moved with compassion for the situation of our kababayan in the Visayan region who are badly affected by Typhoon Yolanda. With this concert at Solaire Resort & Casino, the country’s newest entertainment venue, I wish to share my talents to give hope and provide an avenue for everyone to contribute for the relief operations in Tacloban and other cities in the state of calamity,” Lani stated.

Lani is the first Filipino artist to headline a six-month stint in Las Vegas. She held shows at the Flamingo Las Vegas with the Hawaiian variety troupe Society of Seven (SOS). Since arriving in Las Vegas in 2004, Misalucha has been called New Siren of the Strip.

In March 2008, Misalucha was voted Best Singer in the 27th Annual Best of Las Vegas poll by the Las Vegas Review Journal. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman declared Dec. 4 Lani Misalucha Day.

She’s known as a belter who leaves audiences spellbound with her incredible range and sheer vocal power. She has over the past five years finally achieved the stardom she deserves, with a series of very successful shows at home and abroad. Her concerts feature many different genres of music including OPM, Broadway, jazz and operatic arias.

She can easily shift from ballad to pop rock and even jazz. She may even surprise you with a sudden burst of operatic aria in a seasoned soprano voice. With ease and confidence, she can easily belt out well-known songs of Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Barbra Streisand.
