Tickets now on sale for Aerosmith Live in Manila

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Legendary rock group Aerosmith will bring its groundbreaking slew of hits to Manila for the first time at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 8.

“The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance,” vocalist Steven Tyler declares.

Dubbed as America’s greatest rock ‘n roll band, Aerosmith’s iconic rock songs and effusive live sets have been igniting stages for more than four decades, showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Having formed in Boston in 1970, Aerosmith recently celebrated their 40th anniversary with an impressive career that has spawned 15 gold and multi-platinum albums, four Grammy awards and an induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. They also rank as the 13th-biggest-selling act in US history, with more than 66.5 million albums sold and more than 150 million worldwide.

With hits like Crazy, Cryin’, Dude Looks Like A Lady and I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, the Bad Boys from Boston are back from the studio after an eight-year absence with their latest album Music From Another Dimension! and are currently on the second leg of their Global Warming Tour, which will include Manila.

The tour will feature the band’s classic line-up of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer.

Tickets are now available at SM Tickets Nationwide to the Aerosmith Live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena concert on May 8. For VIP assistance and other details, call 727-4957 or e-mail at [email protected].
