Quezon City councilor donates to medical-dental projects

MANILA, Philippines - Former Quezon City councilor Ariel Inton Jr. hands his check donation to Emy Abuan, president of Movie Writers Welfare Foundation (MWWF). Inton authored an ordinance together with the City Council of Quezon City which added one peso on the price of admission tickets in Quezon City theaters and cinemas.

This will be used for the foundation’s medical and dental projects next month.

MWWF is a non-stock corporation which aims to promote, enhance and improve the welfare of movie (entertainment) writers in the Philippines.
