New shows, new episodes airing on Nickelodeon

MANILA, Philippines - Get a load of Fanboy and Chum Chum as it debuts on Nickelodeon. Combining classic squash and stretch animation with CG technology, the series follows the adventures of a fearless, comic book-loving kid named Fanboy and his best buddy and trusty sidekick, Chum Chum. The super duo is all about comics, movies, cartoons, sci-fi, super heroes, fantasy and gaming all rolled into one. Soar to new heights with Fanboy and Chum Chum on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 a.m.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2010 in Los Angeles will premiere so catch this annual star-studded event as it returns with more slime. Get your buckets of popcorn ready and see your favorite stars get slimed on April 16, 6 p.m. with encore telecasts on April 18, 10 a.m.; April 19, 7 p.m.; and April 21, 1 p.m.

Celebrate Mother Earth’s day with Earth Day Specials on April 22 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. (with a rerun on April 25 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.), featuring premiere specials from iCarly, True Jackson, VP and SpongeBob SquarePants. In iCarly’s iGo Nuclear starting at 4:30 p.m.

Say “Yee-haw!” to Back at the Barnyards’ Snotty Barnyard Week from April 26 to 29, 6:30 p.m. and catch a full replay as Nickelodeon stacks up all these new episodes on April 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Nickelodeon dishes out two new animations on the Chinatoon block showing on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. starting April 10. The block starts off with a colorful and fast-paced animated series, Chicken Stew which is about three upstanding, independent-thinking chickens at the Funny Farm. Then follow the story of a boy named Keke who, because of his curiosity for things, is often mistaken by grown-ups as naughty when in fact, he’s just like any other boy with a nagging mom and a little puppy called Pipi.

Nickelodeon still serves you your all-time favorites such as The Penguins of Madagascar showing Mondays to Thursdays at 6 p.m. On April 9 at 6 p.m., catch the special episode Operation BlowHole and join the fearless foursome as they go on another exciting mission with a replay on April 11, 11 a.m.
