Maja and her Sisters

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – Maja Salvador says she has even better reasons to be proud of her new product endorsement Sisters feminine napkins nowadays.

That is because the people behind the brand, the husband and wife tandem of Emilio and Aileen Go, immediately earned her admiration because unlike other businessmen out there, they seem to have a higher calling in the work that they do. “Their concentration is not just business. They also want to help people along the way,” Maja said.

Their new campaign hypes on the corporate thrust of Mega Soft Hygienic Products, Inc. (the company behind Sisters): Education for the young. To start off, they paid tribute to the country’s young achievers who are sisters, relatives or best friends found mostly in Metro Manila public schools.

Their most recent activity was the recent recognition day at the activity center of Ever Gotesco Commonwealth where Sisters gave awards of excellence to three pairs of academic achievers, pre-chosen from 30 pairs of “sisters” for school year 2008-2009.

Each of the 30 pairs of achievers received cash and medals from Sisters while the top three got trophy, laptop and cash prizes. Their corresponding schools also received one laptop each.

“Our criteria in choosing our Sisters achievers are based on their academic and extra-curricular achievements,” explains Mega Soft’s VP for Finance Aileen Go. “Aside from their outstanding academic achievements and exemplary moral values, they must be sisters or best friends in the school in consistency with the brand name Sisters.”
