Peso moves sideways on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar on Tuesday, closing at 43.615 from the previous day's 43.65.

Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $732.25 million, higher than the $717.8 million posted on Monday.

The peso opened Tuesday at 43.6.
