CEBU, Philippines — Veteran rider PC Gualiza made the most out of his vast experience and maturity on the racetrack to shine the brightest among all winners with two championship trophies during the second leg of the 2024  MS Motosuit Motocross Series billed as the 2nd Mayor Francis Salimbangon Motocross Cup staged in Barangay Pio, Tabogon north of Cebu recently.

Gualiza outsmarted Kervin Pepito and Lawrence Tabas to emerge as champion in the expert category. He also edged Pepito and Jacob Quirol to reign supreme in the inter open.

Pepito and Tabas though did not go home empty-handed. Pepito topped the novice open production, while Tabas came out the fastest in the beginners open production.

In the open enduro, Clark Wagas bagged the top honors, with Justine Arcayan and Jun Enqiruez settling for second and third, respectively.

Arcayan though still has something to be happy about as he grabbed the local enduro crown after getting past Junjun Agsot and Brian Borbon, who was the top finisher in the underbone.

Arnel Lucero caught part of the spotlight after topping the elite class where Russel Quirol and Jerry Abarquez wound up second and third.

Shanyl and Nica Quirol made their presence felt in the ladies open and Under 14 age group, Gabriel Quirol was the fastest in the pewee 50cc, while John Borres outlasted Carl Villahermosa to clinch the mini 85cc title.

On the other hand, Ronan Atillo ruled the local Norte (All-Star) battle after beating Edwin Dilao and Andrew Nolasco.

In the executive division, the best performers were Ryan Quirol (40-44), Ayen Ledesma (45-49), and Jonathan Cuyos (50-above).
