Duenas bags top honors in Science High Run
CEBU, Philippines - Instead of reserving his energy, Philip Duenas opted to race and won the Science High’s Run to Build at SM City-Cebu parking lot yesterday.
Duenas, who is one of the Cebuano qualifiers for today's National Milo Marathon finals in Manila, topped the men’s 15K action with the time of 50 minutes and 55.63 seconds.
Ian Bernido came out second with a 51:08.71 clocking followed by Leo Colonia in 51:12.60.
Joeyry Lee lorded it over in the distaff side, while Alyssa Lagahit and Merlita Arias-Dunkin occupied the next two spots.
In the 5K division, Joel Delposo grabbed the top spot over Jordan Bacong and Meljun Luterte, while the top three placers in the women's bracket were Jean Andrin, Pearl Beronia and Raneza Coleta. (FREEMAN)
