Sisos continue winning in Langkawi

Em-Em and Nino Siso hurdled their first round assignments in the Langkawi International Age-Groups Tennis Championships, the last leg of the 2007 Malaysian Junior tennis circuit.

Sally Mae “Em-em” Siso, the only RP bet that won the singles and doubles titles in the last three legs, kept her winning ways in Langkawi.

Em-Em, showing, finesse, overpowered Malaysian Aisha 8-0 in the preliminary action of the girls’ 14-under category. Em-Em moves to the second round and will try to add Langkawi to her list of titles.

Nino, Em-Em’s older brother, also advanced to the next round after bumping off Mohammad Aris 8-0 in the boys’ 14-under first round match.

The third player from Cebu, Krissianne Kintanar, playing in the girls’ 10-under category, is yet to play her first match in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Antique’s Marian Capadocia was eliminated in the first round, falling to Korean Ju Hyae Ji, in their girls’ 12-under match. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
