3 Webmasters to join Nike Camp

Only three University of Cebu (UC) Junior Webmasters are joining in the Nike Elite Basketball Camp tryouts at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuit gym on January 28 next year.

Coach Reggie Licanda said the three are Robinson Mohammad, Billy Connors and Pelayo Cabañero.

The UC Junior Webmasters are the CESAFI juniors champion, defeating the UV Baby Lancers in the finals, 2-1.

UC is among the four schools, which already named its participants to the Nike tryouts here in Cebu. The other schools are host Sacred Heart, USC Baby Warriors and USP-F Baby Panthers.

Still expected to submit its line-up is UV.

The Nike Elite Basketball Camp in Mamplasan, Laguna will be held March 30 to April 4 next year. It is the gathering of the best high school players nationwide wherein the best campers will be chosen into the All-Star game.

The Nike Elite Camp director is Alex Compton. The other coaches assisting Compton are Eric Altamirano and Edmundo "Ato" Badolato.
