Lapu-Lapu Chess Club subdues CEPCA in exhibition

The Lapu-Lapu City Chess Club outclassed the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (CEPCA) in a pair of goodwill games over the weekend at the Bibo Chess Club.

The LLCC bets edged out CEPCA in the first round, 11.5-6.5, and in the second round, 12.0-6.0.

Overall, LLCC subdued CEPCA by 11 points, 23.5-12.5 or 5.5 points per round.

Team LLCC is composed of Joel Fernan, Roy Caballes, Gerloyn de la Cerna, Lamberto Casas, Kristoffer Querubin, Niel Amores, Arnyl Abellana, Rene Romero, Norman Olaybar, Reynaldo Flores, Armand Apa, Ferdinand Solis, Tony Ycong, Django Roma, Caesar Fernandez, Lando Torres, Erning Godinez, and Jeoffrey Ampo.
