Frat leader shot dead

CEBU, Philippines — A leader of the Alpha Kappa Rho Fraternity was shot dead in Barangay San Isidro, San Fernando, Cebu Tuesday morning.

The victim was identified as Lloyd Procianos, Grand Skeptron (GS) of Alpha Kappa Rho, who died on the spot after he was shot.

The San Fernando Police Station received a report related to the incident and responded quickly.

When they arrived, the police found the victim’s body laid on their doorsteps bathed in his own blood.

The San Fernando Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office was called to assist the victim, who was then taken to the hospital. However, the victim died due to severe gunshot wounds in his body.

Initial police investigation disclosed that neighbors heard a burst of gunshots.

The perpetrator, who was riding a motorcycle, wearing a black shirt and a black jacket with a hood, fled to an unknown direction.

As of press time, the police are still clueless as to the motive of the killing and the identity of the suspects.
