Two men takes P40T from sales agent in Toledo
CEBU, Philippines - Two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle robbed a sales agent carrying P40,000 in cash as she was about to embark a beverage delivery truck past 4 p.m. Saturday in Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City.
Lovely Colegado, 21, was trying to cross the road to get on board a beverage delivery truck when two unidentified suspects blocked her in the middle of the road.
One man aimed a gun at her and declared a hold-up while the other one grabbed her bag and then fled away heading to Ibo, Toledo City.
The bag, according to the police report, contains her mobile phone and her cash collection amounting to P40,000.
She was supposed to remit the cash collections to her employer, NDN Merchandising.
A hot pursuit operation followed but the two men were able to escape, said SPO3 Jose Dante Talandron.
Police are conducting an ongoing investigation on the robbery. (FREEMAN)
