PSME picks Engr. Senining as confab parliamentarian

CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineer has picked a Cebuano member as national parliamentarian during the duration of the 61st PSME Annual National Convention in Manila on October 23-26, 2013.

Engr. Greg Senining, a broadcaster, said that this is his successive two years being the parliamentarian although he has already served the same in the past years.

“During the duration of the PSME national convention, I am in-charge of the command and control of the order of plenary proceedings,” Senining told The Freeman.

During the convention proper, Senining will be the resource speaker on the rules of parliamentary procedures.

Outside of the national convention, as national parliamentarian, Senining is the only authorized lecturer on the subject to all 83 PSME chapters nationwide including Asian chapters in Saudi Arabia.

Led by its national president, Engr. Rudy Sultan, the PSME will have an expected 3,000 delegates, 3,000 graduating mechanical engineering students and about 2,000 trade visitors.

With the theme, “Harnessing Members’ Initiatives: A Key To Global Competitiveness”, is also back to back with the 3rd PSME National Mechanical Engineering Student Conference to be held at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The convention includes technical presentation with  Continuing Professional Education credits for attendees and confer-ences on various issues including the Philippine Mechanical Engineering Act of 1998 and the CPE implementation. — (FREEMAN)
