Police now have sketch of gunman in Liloan shooting
CEBU, Philippines - Liloan police now has the artist sketch of the gunman responsible for shooting to death Marlito “Titi†Cañete, 51, campaign manager and uncle of Liloan Mayor Vincent “Duke†Frasco last week.
The police, however, refused to publicize the artist sketch pending approval of Cebu Provincial Police Office director Patrocinio Comendador.
A conference is set today at the CPPO headquarters to discuss matters regarding the case.
Insp. Leo Ty, Liloan police chief, only described the gunman as about 5’4†tall, has brown complexion, chubby, skinhead, and wearing a black jacket.
There was no description yet of the driver of the getaway motorcycle used by the assailants.
“As soon as pwede na namo mapagawas amo nang i-disseminate sa among AOR. (As soon as we are allowed to release the sketch, we shall disseminate it in our area of responsibility),†Ty said in a phone interview. (FREEMAN)
