Alleged gay man robbed

CEBU, Philippines – A man robbed an alleged gay man of his cellular phone who had tried to befriend him yesterday dawn in barangay Poblacion, Cordova town.

PO1 Ryan Casebar of the Cordova police station identified the victim as Arnel Bentulan, 29, and a resident of the place.

Casebar said Bentulan went to the station to report the robbery and said that while he was on his way home yesterday he saw four men on the roadside.

Casebar said Bentulan signaled to one of the men because he wanted to befriend him.

But the man turned out be armed, and demanded that Bentulan hand over his phone, which was worth P8,000. (FREEMAN)
