Farmer shot dead

A 38-year-old farmer was shot dead at sitio Kayapokyapokan, barangay Manlapay, Dalaguete town Sunday evening after attending a vigil.

Abundio Bedoria Enricoso, single, and a resident of the place, was allegedly walking along the highway when shot. He sustained wounds on the neck.

SPO4 Lope Belcina, OIC of the Dalaguete police station believes Enricoso could be a relative of a certain Esteban Enricoso, a suspect in a stabbing incident last Saturday in the same place. Police, who recovered an empty shotgun shell from the crime scene, are looking into the case. - Norvie Misa, UV Intern
