The Tent & BBQ

PEOPLE PLACES - Flor Ynclino - The Freeman

It was the recent preview of The Tent at Mandani Bay, an events venue within the Mandani Bay Community. The Tent is located across the Mandani Bay Show Gallery along F.E. Zuellig Avenue in Mandaue City. Total floor area is 1,250 sq. meters which can accommodate about 1200 guests for parties, concerts and corporate events. The main pavilion has taraflex flooring and sheer cloth treatment on the ceiling. Adjacent garden can be used for bigger gatherings in addition to the capacity of the main pavilion. The preview event was held for Cebu`s party, wedding and events planners and suppliers and the media.

In the evening, Mandani Bay held its Ripple Awards at The Tent. The Ripple Awards is a recognition for top performing sellers of Mandani Bay. Thirteen cars were given away during the awards, as well as cruises and cash. During the awards, there was a ball with cotillion de honor participated in by the awardees. Congrats to the awardees for a job well done!

It was the first in a series of summer events happening at Mandani Bay. These events were designed for guests to just enjoy the tropical summer, the outdoors, being with the family and friends, relaxing – a glimpse too into the lifestyle that one will enjoy once Mandani Bay is realized.

It won`t be long before one can get an initial taste of what it really is… this year, Mandani Bay starts constructing its Boardwalk that will host retail and dining spaces along the 500-meter area directly facing the  Mactan Channel.

Prior to opening the BBQ, there was an open house during the first event and the guests were quite impressed with the model units (housed at the Mandani Bay Show Gallery , just in front of the garden where the BBQ was held). Incidentally, the Show Gallery has been winning international awards.
