The week-long celebration of The Freeman Chairman Jose "Dodong" R. Gullas' birthday started with the JRGHalad Foundation Pasalamat's free medical mission at the Gullas Medical Center in Banilad last Saturday. More than a thousand patients availed of the free medical, dental, and other services. And last Thursday, there was a mass wedding and also confirmation at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. The confirmation was done by Msgr. Esteban Binghay.

We thank the Lord for giving us people like Sir Dodong Gullas for what he has done for the less fortunate brothers and sisters in our city. God bless you more and more, Sir Dodong!

And speaking of birthdays…Belinda Wong, wife of businessman Ahoy Wong, celebrated her birthday with a big dinner reception at their home in Wireless, Mandaue City. Her special guests, aside from her hordes of friends, were Congresswoman Gwen Garcia and Carlos and Mariquita Yeung.

And Audrey Salimbangon, only daughter of Congressman Benhur and Janice was honored by her dear parents with dinner at their home in Nivel Hills last January 12 with classmates, friends and relations in dancing attendance. Audrey turned all of twelve years young!
