'My single dad'

CEBU, Philippines -  Meet my father, Jonathan "Pax" Dionson.

He is a worship leader in our church. He loves to sing and compose songs.

At home, he cooks a lot of different dishes all the time. Among his specialties, his spicy chicken wings is my favorite. It's tasty and mouthwatering. My friends also love it.

During his spare time, he watches foreign movies. If I don't have school assignments, I join him. He always cracks jokes so there's never a dull moment with my Papa Pax. He is also a friend to everyone since meeting new friends is one of the things he does best.

One thing truly admirable about my Papa is his enthusiasm and patience in raising me all by himself. Yes, he is a single father. So far, he's doing a great job. I know it isn't easy for him but he stays positive. He always smiles amidst the challenges of being a single dad.

I have learned a lot of things from him. Everything that he teaches me comes from his experiences in life. I will always believe in the lessons he shares because I know that they are the lessons that have made him a great dad. 

It feels great to have a father like Papa Pax. He is not only my father but my best friend, as well. (FREEMAN)
