Industry Data

Gathers and disseminates information that include statistical data on cocoa production, market and price trends, and other relevant information on the domestic and global cocoa economy. These information are updated regularly and are made accessible to the industry sub-sectors to enable them to identify, plan, develop and expand market positions and strategies.

Idea Forum

Organizes seminars and conventions that feature experts from the Cocoa Industry and different government agencies. These conventions serve as a forum of ideas where achievement, gains and concerns are synthesized to become inputs in directing globally oriented plans and programs. They also serve as venues for active discussions that can identify business opportunities and strengthen market linkages. Fair resolutions may also be achieved on issues that impact the Cocoa Industry.

Exhibitions, Events  and Promotions

Participates in various trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences to promote cocoa products to the domestic and foreign markets. Cocoaphil mounts generic promotion projects in local and international trade exhibitions to give our members the opportunity to link up with buyers and to open gateways for market opportunities and technology exchange. We also organize trade missions that explore new export market opportunities while we find ways to strengthen the industry foothold in existing ones.

Industry Development Advocacy

Maintains active involvement and promote close ties with the Philippine government, the domestic and international development institutions, and other foreign private sector counterparts. Cocoaphil is an active member of the World Cocoa Foundation, and the ASEAN Cocoa Club – an organization of Cocoa Industry focal groups in the South East Asia Region.
