"Endless Love" affirms Ynoc Couple's silver wedding anniversary

CEBU, Philippines - The angels must have sung the moment businessman Antonio D. Ynoc exchanged “Yes I do’s” for the second time around with the former Gloria Arnado, his faithful wife of 25 years.

As Fr. Elvin Miraflor was solemnly officiating the Silver Wedding of the Ynoc couple last January 29, their children in the front pew of their family chapel inside the office of the San Remigio Beach Club were misty-eyed.

A far cry from today’s rowdy youth born with the proverbial silver spoon, eldest and only son Mark Anthony, 25, successfully runs the Ynoc family-owned San Remigio Beach Club as its general manager, daughters Mary Antonette, 22, has her own small businesses, and Jane Antonette, 20, is an outstanding student at the University of San Carlos taking up Enterpreurship..

After the solemn renewal of vows, the guests composed of close family friends and relatives retreated outside the resort office teeming with silver balloons, fireworks display, light pink flowers and acoustic band where sumptuous dinner was served.

A short program followed which included the dance of the “re-wed” couple. Much to the surprise of Tony and Gloria and the audience delight, their son and usually party-shy Mark belted their theme song “Endless Love” with emcee Natasha Cang as his duet partner.

As the saying goes, what more can they ask for from the Creator?

Aside from their marriage being blessed for 25 years, their family-owned San Remigio Beach Club in northern Cebu is acknowledged as a perfect hide-away for local and foreign tourists in search of clean fun. It has 46 rooms ranging from the comfortably spartan to the gratifyingly luxurious, food outlets serving up savory cuisine, a wide choice of sports facilities, all set up in refreshingly natural surroundings of coconut trees, sand , shore and sea.

Tony and Gloria could only smile when asked what’s their secret in having a successful marriage and an equally successful business such as the San Remigio Beach Club. But their friends whisper: It was their unflinching faith in God and generosity that unlocks the blessings from Heaven.
