Javier y Marta
CEBU, Philippines - It was a blissful moment when Marta, daughter of Angel Bajo Montero and Ada Marcos Sanchez walked down the aisle to marry Javier “Javy”, the eldest son of Fco. Javier Huete Lopez and Teresita Franco Barte. The couple exchanged vows at the Iglesia San Benito in the beautiful city of Salamanca, Spain with close family and friends. The officiating priest was Father Pedro Sanchez.
The Tuna Universidad de Salamanca (University of Salamanca) played several beautiful songs for the new couple before taking the newlyweds to the Palacio de Figueroa for the grand wedding reception. There, a jazz band entertained the guests during the cocktails just before everyone was taken into another room for the long and gorgeous sit-down dinner.
The couple decided on Manuel Mota for the bridal veil and gown, Manuel Prado as the official wedding photographer and the bride herself who personally selected the flower arrangements for this elegant setting.
One of the highlights of the evening that marked the couple’s eternal life commitment was the handing of the bridal bouquet of flowers to the bride’s eldest niece, who is also named Marta. The cutting of the cake was made extra special with the use of the bride’s grandfather’s sword. Cigars were the wedding handouts before a photo presentation on both Javier and Marta.
As snow fell on the city of Salamanca, the couple opened the dancing with a waltz. Soon, everyone hit the dance floor and stayed there until the early hours of the morning!
As Javier and Marta mark their new life together as husband and wife, I wish them many more blessings! Congratulations!
