7th Summer workshop with RYPiT

Here’s a cool and musical way for kids and adults alike to make their summer worthwhile, to develop the confidence that they need, and to discover their musical and artistic skills!
On its 7th year, Repertory of Young Professionals in Theater (RYPiT), is once again opening its SUMMER WORKSHOP for individuals from 3 years old and above who wish to enroll in Voice, Dancing, Theater Arts, or Piano (classical and oido), Guitar and Public Speaking. Other instruments are also offered by request.
Summer Workshop starts on April 9 to April 27. Recital will be on April 28 or May 05.
Lessons may be conducted One-on-One (Voice, Piano, Guitar, Public Speaking) or in Groups of 5 enrolled at the same time (Dance, Theater Arts, Public Speaking).
Discounted fees of P4,000.00 for One-on-One and P2,000.00 (Group of 5 people) will be given to early enrollees until April 5.
Enrollment and continuous training to any of the lessons is automatic membership to RYPIT and involvement to all of the group’s performances, including audition on May for character roles in the August musical production of Les Miserables.
In the past seven (7) years, RYPiT has been known to perform quality theater productions, as well as, musical concerts/shows for local and foreign audience. They have successfully presented the musicals Les Miserables in 2001, Annie in 2002, Amahl and the Night Visitors 2003-2004 and the straight-play Bang, Bang You’re Dead 2006-2007 and performed over 100 corporate/private events, TV guestings and recitals.
Instructors are sisters Jamna Gicole (AB Music graduate/ voice/ classical piano and oido trained/ theater director/ public speaking trainor), Yvonne Gicole (voice/ classical piano and oido trained). Other instructors are RYPiT members who have undergone extensive personal training in their respective fields.
In theater and music, you learn discipline, professionalism, punctuality, self-confidence, humility, perseverance, frustration tolerance, patience, and a whole lot of other values. It carries itself into school, work and many other areas in life that don’t have anything to do with theater. Primarily, it’s a good medium for those who want to build up self-confidence.
