Models are as synonymous to fashion as hangers are to clothes. Models give life to each garment, creating the feel for everyone to have the urge to buy or indulge in a certain service by setting an example for everyone to follow. Season after season, designer runways in New York, Paris and Milan are fashion avenues for the latest trends and the hottest models to watch out for. With just 15 minutes on the catwalk, these models land in the world's major magazines and dailies. Fashion editorials create an impact that could give them a shot at stardom. Models have become at par with popular big screen icons or movie stars appearing in major ad campaigns for the leading fashion bigwigs of the trade. And with the advent of the "supermodel' phenomenon, models are no longer confined on the catwalk or inside the pages of fashion glossies. They have become style celebrities visible in special events, either as designer muses or as major product endorsers, and as hosts and emcees giving talk show personalities a run for their money. One of the more popular vj models who share this new found glory is KC Montero, Sarah Miejer and Mikee Evers of MTV Asia, Amanda Griffin of F, and Marc Nelson of Sports Unlimited. They have set the standards for other members of the pack to follow.

Fashion models nowadays must posses not just the X Factor that designers and modeling agencies are looking for, but also the total personality that adds up to the models' potentials not just on the runway and print ads but in product endorsements, as well.
