Sam Milby in the fast lane

Sam knows that motocross is a dangerous sport, but he just can’t shake off his need for speed.

“This is my passion. A lot of people have told me to give up motocross, but I just can’t,” the hunk of an actor said.

Last week, Sam must have felt an adrenaline rush after placing third in the Motocross Beginners Competition held in Cavite.

Sam says he’s not the rider who courts danger by doing crazy stunts like back flips because he’s aware that any serious accident will hurt his acting career. “I will do the jumps, but I would keep in mind to be very careful, especially if I have a taping the following day. It’s gonna be a big loss for me if I get injured.”

Sam meanwhile is ready to take a risk in another field –romance. He’s been unattached since he split up with Anne Curtis three years ago. “I’m not seeing anybody, I’m not dating anybody... Now I’m ready for a love life.”

Joseph Bitangcol is recovering following a horrible road crash in Antipolo City last week.

The actor’s Mitsubishi Montero was involved in a collision with a big truck after which it smashed into an electric post. Joseph and his five companions all suffered injuries.

Joseph had a facial fracture and was reportedly unconscious when taken to a hospital.

Also spending time in a hospital was Miss Earth 2008 Karla Paula Henry. 

Karla was stabbed in the back with a broken beer bottle by Jherome Quibuyen, reportedly her neighbor, outside her condominium unit in Mandaluyong City.

Quibuyen was said to be drunk when he attacked the beauty queen. Doctors had to insert a tube in the space between her lung and chest wall to ease her breathing problems.

That is just what Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband did recently.

Interviewed last week, Angel said the Azkals player followed her to the City of Love while she was doing shows there with a group of ABS-CBN stars.

So does that mean that the two are admitting that they’re on? Sorry, still no solid commitments, according to Angel. “Like I’ve been telling you before, we are still in a getting-to-know-you stage. But we’re both happy as it is,” she said.

It gave me my big break.” As if to prove her point, Sarah will be reunited with Gerald Anderson in a new project for Star Cinema and Viva Films following their box-office hit, Catch Me… I’m in Love.
