Full Moon Shines at Cowrie Cove

() - April 30, 2009 - 12:00am

CEBU, Philippines - When the full moon rises, be ready to drink and dance till dawn—or after.

The popular Full Moon Party blazes its way back to partyphiles’ consciousness on May 8, Friday, from 9 pm to 2 am at the Cowrie Cove’s ChillOut Bar.

Fire zip dancers set the mood with tribal percussionists, making way for a fashion show featuring some of Cebu’s bright young belles and hunks wearing party outfits from What A Girl Wants.

The intensity builds up further with some of Cebu’s most recognized and glamorous ladies sashaying in their Sal Malto resort wear—Margie Lhuillier, Agnes Huttel, Jo Ann Castillo, Janice Minor, Mercy Abellana-Brenner, Alice Woolbright and Queenie Ammann.

Guest DJ Blaze from Philadelphia, USA then takes centerstage to spin his distinct brand of music. As his name suggests, DJ Blaze brings fire when it comes to radio station imaging, mixing and music production. Currently, DJ Blaze is Creative Services Director at WUSL Power 99 and WDAS FM in Philadelphia. Outside radio, DJ Blaze belongs to one of the top reggae sounds, the 4-5-6 Sound, along with some other famous DJs in Washington, DC. He is also the DJ for Mos Mental, a hip-hop band in Philadelphia. Cebu takes first crack as DJ Blaze brings his music for the first time in the Philippines.

The Full Moon Party is co-presented by Future Trade International. Special thanks to What A Girl Wants and Gretchen Uy.
