CEBU, Philippines — Exporter, property developer and hotelier Justin Uy opened his first array of residential projects through the 40-storey J Tower Residences in Mandaue City.

Uy’s EverJust Realty Corporation, through its residential development arm JIProp, will build a total of 1,274 residential units: 1,080 studio units, 120 one-bedroom units, 60 penthouse villas and 14 garden villas, with 465 full-size parking slots.

The P2.3 billion project is expected to be an iconic landmark in vertical development strategically located on AS Fortuna St., Mandaue City, Cebu.

“J Tower Residences is just steps away from the good life,” said Uy, Chairman and CEO of JIProp Development Corp.

“J Tower is our first condominium project in Mandaue City. Our goal is really to integrate the home life with exciting activities and fun adventures,” Uy added.

JIProp partnered with Dream Architects, the firm behind JIProp’s other developments.

“J Tower Residences is conceptualized to be a modern icon of Mandaue City,” said Architect Daryl Balmoria-Garcia, Principal Architect of Dream Architects.

This green building development will have direct access to JCentre Mall through a covered bridgeway. This will connect the fourth floor of J Tower to the second floor of JCentre Mall.

This is what Uy means when he said that the good life is just a few steps away since passage to the mall also means that residents will enjoy the convenience to Gold’s Gym, Sky Waterpark, SM Supermarket, key government offices, restaurants, dental clinics, banks, a spa, beauty salons, and dozens of shops.

“Gone are the days when we measure success by the sizes of our homes,” Uy said reasoning further that the young breed consumers of today have different perspective, and luxury and success is living in an integrated neighborhood where everything within reach.

Uy’s EverJust Realty Corporation is the developer of JCentre, Toyoko Inn, and the owner of JPark Resort in Mactan Island and JPark Panglao, among others.

Its first entry to residential development was marked with the creation of its subsidiary JIProp, which will build the flagship project called “J Tower Residences.”

According to Uy, the J Tower Residences is the first of a series of high-rise or vertical residential developments the company will build in the next few years.
