New home for Acer Phils.

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Acer Philippines Inc., the local subsidiary of global IT brand Acer Inc., moved out of the Makati Central Business District, its home for several years, into its new home at the Bonifacio Global City. The new Acer corporate headquarters, whose interiors were designed by Orlando Ll. Ortiz Designs Associates and Ortiz Construction Corp. as general contractor, is located at the ninth floor of the brand-new W Fifth Building along 32nd Street corner 5th Avenue. Present during the inauguration of the new Acer office were Acer’s top executives plus VIP guests and channel sales partners, including members of the Greenearth Foundation, which Acer supports by helping build some of its facilities in its Bulacan site, and providing computers to Greenearth scholars. Highlights of the event included musical performances by the award-winning Mandaluyong Children’s Choir and a heart-stopping dragon dance by one of the top dragon dance groups from Baguio City. Shown during the ribbon-cutting ceremony are (from left) Norman Wee, chief finance officer, W Fifth Building; Francis Wee, real estate head, W Fifth Building; Manuel Wong, general manager, Acer Philippines Inc.; Jennifer Teng-Chua, finance and administrative director, Acer Philippines Inc.; and Agnes Neri-Espino, sales and marketing director, Acer Philippines Inc.
