Greenfield opens new EDSA Central
December 13, 2003 | 12:00am
Greenfield Development Corp. decided to refurbish its flagship mall, the EDSA Central, when new malls began sprouting in the area and give its customer a bigger place to shop and dine.
Slated to open during the holiday season, the new complex will have three main features: A three-level shopping, entertainment and dining plaza connected to the MRT station; an open-air jeepney park with more shop and restaurants, surrounded by bargain stores, service centers and fastfood outlets; and a wet market (the only one at the heart of a commercial and business district) that will serve residents of nearby villages and subdivisions.
Once completed, the shopping complex promises to make shopping and entertainment much more enjoyable and much more accessible in terms of location and value.
When the curtains go up on the new EDSA Central, young and old commuters, travelers and promenaders, office workers and shoppers will discover how the pioneering "mall at the crossing" the new EDSA Central once again redefines the concept of convergence, convenience and value shopping.
