MADE in the Metro

BUSINESS CHIC - Johnny Litton -

Bequest with the ability to provide a launching pad for many young and bright Filipino artists, Metrobank Group of Companies led by chairman doctor George S.K. Ty, bank chairman Antonio Abacan and president Arthur Ty, recently awarded the honorees of the 2009 Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) national competition at Le Pavillion.

Renowned Filipino artists, captains of industry, government leaders, cultural advocates and members of the diplomatic community, gathered together to witness and honor the country’s talented and gifted young artists. “With 25 years of celebrating the creativity of young Filipino artists and designers, the Metrobank Foundation, through MADE, remains steadfast in its commitment to honor the outstanding talent of our youth,” Metrobank Foundation president Aniceto Sobrepeña said. Among those who graced the event were renowned artist Betsy Westerndorp and French ambassador Thierry Borja de Mozota.

Congratulations Metrobank for continuously believing in the talent of the Filipinos!
