New CTBC Philippines chief executive

MANILA, Philippines - Veteran banker Steve Tsai has been appointed chief executive officer and concurrent member of the board of directors of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. effective March. Prior to his new assignment, Tsai held significant leadership roles with CTBC Bank for international private banking, treasury, corporate planning, product development, and corporate trust.  Previous to CTBC Bank, Tsai was with JP Morgan Chase where he rose to the position of vice president for Treasury.  He started his career as a management trainee at Bank of America.
