MANILA, Philippines - Bankers Association of the Philippines president Lorenzo V. Tan told members of the Bankers Institute of the Philippines’ that ‘the global economy’s interconnectedness, Basel III, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ regulations, the Asean economic community and the country’s investment grade rating are key influencers of the worldwide banks’ direction from 2015 and beyond which will make the global financial market more competitive. Tan, president and chief executive officer of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., spoke recently at the BAIPHIL 4th general membership meeting held at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City recently.
