New Maybank Phl CEO

MANILA, Philippines - Maybank Berhad has named Herminio M. Famatigan Jr., as incoming president and chief executive officer of Maybank Philippines Inc. (MPI), subject to the confirmation by the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). He is the former president and CEO of Premiere Bank. Famatigan graduated from the University of the Philippines’ School of Economics, and has more than 30 years of banking and finance experience, including areas of corporate lending, retail banking, branch administration, distribution and consumer lending. Former MPI president Amos Ong will be heading Regional Client Coverage for Global Wholesale Banking, Maybank Singapore.
