RCBC opens 9 branches
MANILA, Philippines - The Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) has opened recently nine new branches. Three branches will be relocated, and another set will be opened soon.
RCBC president and chief executive officer Lorenzo V. Tan said the bank’s aggressive branch expansion is not just to make banking accessible.
“It also indicates our aggressive push to reinforce our presence as a major player in the banking industry,” Tan added.
Recently opened were branches located in Metro Manila, including two in Makati City, at La Fuerza Plaza along Chino Roces Avenue and at Sterling Center on Ormaza corner De la Rosa street; one in NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City; and another located at 3963 JJM Building II, Ninoy Aquino Avenue, Sto. Niño, Parañaque City.
New sites also opened in the following provincial locations: Cebu-Paseo Arcenas Branch on Don Ramon Arcenas street, Banawa, Cebu City; Iloilo Mabini Branch in Go Pun Building, Mabini corner Delgado street, Iloilo City; Davao Bajada Branch on JP Laurel Avenue corner Villa Abrille street, Davao City; Limketkai Branch in Gateway Tower I, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City; and the Boracay Branch at Station I, Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan.
Meanwhile, three branches were relocated to new and better sites: Araneta Center Branch at Unit III, Sampaguita Theater Building corner Gen. Araneta and Gen. Rozas street, Cubao, Quezon City; Makati Avenue Branch at 369 Executive Building Center, Gil Puyat Avenue corner Makati Avenue, Makati City; and San Jose Antique Branch on Solana corner T.A. Fornier streets., San Jose, Antique.
With these new developments, RCBC, together with its thrift banking subsidiary RCBC Savings Bank, has boosted its branch network to a total of 335 branches nationwide.
“More branches are expected to open in the coming months in line with plans to further increase the bank’s presence, profitability, and capital base,” Tan said.
