MANILA, Philippines — Motorcycle manufacturer Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has expanded export operations by starting the shipment of Click125 motorcycles to Cambodia and Laos.

In a statement, HPI said it has officially started exporting the Click125 to N.C.X. Co. Ltd., the exclusive manufacturer, distributor and assembler of Honda motorcycles in Cambodia and Laos.

The company celebrated the dispatch of the first batch of Click125 units bound for Cambodia and Laos on May 15.

The move marks another milestone for HPI, which aims to bring Philippine-made motorcycles to the global market, while strengthening its presence across Southeast Asia.

Click125 is one of HPI’s best-selling motorcycle models in the country.

It has become a preferred choice by riders for everyday use because of its design, fuel-efficient engine and advanced features.

Given its popularity among Filipino consumers, HPI sees the Click125 as a strong model for export to other Southeast Asian markets.

“The Click125 export to NCX Cambodia and Laos marks another significant achievement for Honda Philippines as we bring one of the most trusted motorcycle models of Filipino riders to international market,” HPI president Takeshi Kobayashi said.

“This milestone reflects our commitment to showcasing the quality of Philippine-made motorcycles and delivering the Joy of Mobility to more customers across the region,” he added.

HPI is the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines.

Last month, it achieved a significant milestone as its cumulative unit sales reached 12 million.
