MANILA, Philippines — Conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC) has once again proven its leadership in sustainable and exemplary business practices, securing seven major distinctions at the 15th Asian Excellence Awards by Corporate Governance Asia.

MPIC received Asia’s Best CEO (Investor Relations) for Manuel V. Pangilinan, Asia’s Best CFO (Investor Relations) for June Cheryl Cabal-Revilla, Best Investor Relations Professional for Maricris Aldover-Ysmael, Best Corporate Communications for Melody del Rosario, along with the Sustainable Asia Award and Best Investor Relations Company.

“Sustainability is a strategic imperative for us —and it’s deeply integrated into how we operate,” Pangilinan, MPIC chairman, president and CEO, said.

“Our success is measured not only in financial terms, but in how well we contribute to improving the lives of Filipinos — and this distinction affirms the work our people have done. We’re grateful to them, and to Corporate Governance Asia for recognizing the work we do,” he said.

MPIC places innovation, responsible growth and long-term resilience at the center of its approach with a sustainability governance framework that weaves economic, environmental, social and governance principles into both strategic planning and daily operations.

“Winning the Sustainable Asia Award affirms our belief that financial excellence and sustainability are mutually reinforcing drivers behind a resilient and responsible business,” Cabal-Revilla, MPIC chief finance, risk and sustainability officer, said.

“This award is an achievement shared across our organization – proving that purpose-led growth drives long-term value for our stakeholders,” she said.

The Asian Excellence Award recognizes organizational leaders who demonstrate excellence in enterprise management, operating within a strong framework of corporate governance, operations, financial management and investor relations.

It also highlights companies’ commitment to social and environmental responsibility, as well as corporate social activities aligned with global standards.

Looking ahead, MPIC said that remains focused on innovation, digitalization and inclusive growth, continuing its mission to help build a greener and more resilient Philippines.
