Ayala, Mariott team up to bring Moxy Hotels

MANILA, Philippines — Ayala Land Hospitality (ALH) is teaming up with Marriott International to bring the Moxy Hotel brand to the Philippines.
The two companies have signed an agreement to debut Moxy Hotels in the country with Moxy Circuit Makati.
Moxy Hotels is Marriott’s playful and design-forward lifestyle hotel brand that is crafted for socially driven and experience-seeking travelers.
Located in the heart of Circuit’s 21-hectare development, Moxy Circuit Makati is aimed at becoming a premier live-work-play destination, featuring 260 contemporary rooms and suites.
“Our vision remains steadfast: to bring Filipino hospitality to the global stage by crafting experiences that connect guests more deeply with each place and its culture,” Ayala Land Hospitality president and CEO George Aquino said.
“With Moxy Hotels, we offer travelers a playful and vibrant hotel experience. We’re excited to collaborate with Marriott to create what we believe will set a new benchmark for authentic, dynamic and imaginative urban destinations,” he said.
The partnership forms part of ALH’s new chapter, with the company targeting to double its room inventory to 8,000 by 2030 through an ambitious nationwide expansion.
Last March, Ayala Land relaunched ALH with an aggressive expansion mapped out.
ALH’s strategic refresh positions it at the forefront of a new chapter in Philippine tourism amid the changing needs of global travelers.
“Moxy is set to be our guests’ backstage pass to the city’s creative pulse. From design to service touchpoints, every stay is thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of the neighborhood and the moments that matter, always with a dash of fun and a sense of adventure,” ALH creative director Paloma Urquijo Zobel de Ayala said.
“Whether you’re creatively curious or simply seeking a design-forward, accessible stay, Moxy is poised to become the go-to destination in Manila’s rising arts hub,” she said.
Marriott continues to expand its footprint in the Philippines, where it currently operates 12 properties across six distinct brands,.
With a strong pipeline, Marriott plans to introduce more of its iconic brands in both established and emerging destinations, reinforcing its commitment to the country’s growing travel and tourism industry.
