PLDT Enterprise powers EAC, DLSU e-learning

MANILA, Philippines — PLDT’s business-to-business arm continues to power more educational institutions on their shift to remote learning.

Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) has partnered with PLDT Enterprise for e-learning solutions.

Under the partnership, PLDT Enterprise will be implementing Smart GIGA Study plans for EAC’s campuses in Manila and Cavite which will benefit approximately 12,000 students.

“This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts in the PLDT Group to redefine the future of learning. Our services will help EAC deliver lessons and stay connected with their home-based students,” said Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT president and CEO and SVP and head for PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups.

Through its partnership with PLDT Enterprise, EAC expects its two campuses to have the necessary connectivity to continue remote learning for their home-based students.

Aside from EAC, De La Salle University (DLSU) also recently fortified its partnership with PLDT Enterprise to address its technical requirements for online learning and provide a reliable home-based setup for its students and faculty.

With PLDT Enterprise’s Smart Bizload service and Smart Giga Study plans, DLSU is geared to kick off the online learning mode for term 1 of the academic year 2020 to 2021.

Bizload is a web-based credit portal that lets DLSU load their students and faculty’s Smart prepaid services, while Smart Giga Study includes daily data allocations that will enable the students and teachers to use online learning tools and interact in virtual classrooms.
