MANILA, Philippines -  Listed mass housing developer, 8990 Holdings, has expanded further in the Visayas region with the introduction of its two new projects in Cebu valued at P10.7 billion.

The new projects, DECA Homes Mactan Prime and Urban DECA Homes Mactan, are the company’s largest ventures in the island and are expected to be completed in 2023.

Located in Lapu Lapu City in Cebu, the company’s newest projects in the province offer families friendly communities that are located near the city of Cebu.

“Our projects in Cebu are a testament to our commitment to providing decent homes to the Filipino at an affordable price,” 8990 Holdings president and CEO Januario Jesus Gregorio Atencio III said.

The two projects are easily accessible through public transportation and are just minutes from the local school, hospital, commercial center and public market.

It is also just 2.6 kilometers from the planned third Mactan bridge which is expected to be rolled out in 2022.

DECA Homes Mactan Prime and Urban DECA Homes Mactan, combined, account for close to 70 percent of the company’s current pipeline in Cebu at a project cost of approximately P7 billion, Atencio said.

The DECA Homes Mactan Prime, which has a project value of P4.2 billion, is situated within a 30-hectare property.

Once completed, this gated community will provide 3,507 home units with a community gathering area and 16,000 sqm of commercial space where families can spend their leisure time.

Urban DECA Homes Mactan, meanwhile, is a 15-hectare property valued at P6.5 billion. It will house mid-rise buildings with a total of 6,828 units upon completion of the project.
