Sta Lucia eyes projects near government infra works

MANILA, Philippines - Sta. Lucia Land Inc. is looking to expand its existing projects in areas where the government is developing big-ticket infrastructure projects.

SLI will expand the Sta. Lucia City Complex in Cainta, its first mall complex in the area with 11 hectares of prime real estate. This is near the LRT Line 2 extension project of the government.

It will also develop the Sta. Lucia Business Center in Pasig City, a proposed commercial six-story building which will be leased out to offices and commercial retail establishments.

The company is also looking at expanding its residential projects in Cainta, which include Sta. Lucia Residenzes Towers 1 and 2, which are connected to Il Centro Mall, the newest two-story Sta. Lucia retail complex in Cainta.

The company also has several projects accessible to the MRT-7. These include the 300-hectare Colinas Verdes in Bulacan and three projects in Fairview. These are the 22-hectare Neopolitan Business Park, the nine-story Neopolitan residential Tower and the eight-story Sotogrande Neopolitan Hotel.

Other projects SLI may expand include Greenmeadows at the Orchard in Cavite, Sotogrande expansion in Tagaytay, and the Sugarland Estates in Cavite.

The C6 expressway project is also seen improving access to several SLI projects, such as the expansion of Greenland and Greenwoods in Cainta and the Notingham Villas in Taytay, a seven cluster townhouse project which boasts of prime commercial areas and residential townhouse units composed of garden and middle units.

SLI is also looking to expand its projects in Cebu as the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Passenger Terminal building is expected to enhance access to these projects.

One such project is the Arterra Cebu, a 20-story residential and hotel tower in Mactan which is located in the same strip as Cebu’s most popular five-star hotels, and triple-A resorts.

Another project is the La Mirada Cebu, a 15-story Spanish-Mediterranean inspired residential tower.
